hi there, have just finished watching the new magic numbers movie and i loved it. what a wonderfuly honest rockumentary. i hope everyone will go and buy a hardcopy of this new album. I was disapointed to feel that Romeo felt that the 2nd album may not have been recieved as well as the first. i think that “those the brokes” is an amazing album. Of the 47gbs of music on my itunes (over 10,000 songs) and it remains in my most played songs and albums even now. The two acoustic songs on the documentary presented as very old demo type songs to get Sans attention are absolutely stunning especially the 2nd one . Would love to hear it recorded !!!! Hoping to see you guys in Galway in a few weeks. Any idea what time ye will be on stage?
saw ye in Cork last november ,wonderful gig with Florence and machine.
Please come back to Cork , i havent seen any Irish dates posted yet but i am eagerly waitng some dates (please !)
    love and best wishes

Thanks for last night’s gig in Manchester. I was at the front singing and humming ( when I don’t know the words) to the extent that my voice is Billy Goat Gruff today! I love the fact that you can choose some many parts of each song to sing to- whether it be the main melody, a harmony or a guitar riff- however the mood and voice takes you.
I’m glad you’re sticking to the smaller venues. The music becomes so much more personal. I saw you at the Band on the Wall which was awesome and also very sad for me as it was one of the last gigs I went to with my boyfriend before he was tragically taken away. I liked your dedication to Manchester ‘Smith style’ and half hoped you would do the same cover again as under the circumstances it was so meaningful. But hey ho, I had a great night, thanks!
ps love the new album- some interestingly complicated drumming and rhythms going on, but still those simple singalong melodies – inspirational. Angela

Hey Guys…big fan from San Diego, California. I’m looking to purchase the new album, and want to know if there are any plans to have a US release. Keep up the great work!

Hi Folks. I am a big fan of your extremely lyrical songs and sound, and have been especially moved by all of your references to Robert Kirby, including your dedication of The Runaway to him. He was literally my best friend at University in the late 60’s, but unfortunately we lost touch after that. I had just recontacted him via Friends Reunited and we were going to meet up when he suddenly and tragically died. Imagine my shock to open the paper one day and find his obituary. We were both close to Nick Drake, Robert of course closer than pretty much anyone. I would love to share any stories or recollections with you. His arrangements suited your sound to a T, but then of course you knew that!
    Best wishes
    Chris Jones
