Oxfam–Glastonbury Auction for Haiti

We’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who bid in the auction and helped us to support such a worthwhile cause. This weekend we were in the Isle of Wight, playing a secret gig for the winner’s friends and family in their back garden. Because of your overwhelming support, Oxfam has been able to assist more than 420,000 people – by providing clean water, shelter and basic sanitation, as well as by helping community canteens provide daily hot meals.

Here’s a thank-you video from Oxfam, showing how your money has been used to help:

Thanks again to everyone who got involved.
Love,
The Magic Numbers xxxx

Guys we had the most outstanding afternoon watching you play. Thanks so much for crossing the Solent to be with us on the Isle of Wight and for giving up your time to entertain us so brilliantly. We look forward to seeing you in Portsmouth and have a great time in Oz. Sydney will love you.

We raised an additional £235 on the day for Haiti which we have paid into the fund. So thanks again guys. Great day. You are the talk of Bembridge.
